Our mission at Brave Beginnings is to empower children within our community through the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team approach. With advocacy, justice, and care, Brave Beginnings provides support for children in finding their voice, to tell their stories and embrace hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Brave Beginnings exists to confront child sexual exploitation and abuse right here in Muskingum County. We are the first child advocacy program in Muskingum County and that allow survivors in the area to heal where they live, while ensuring a more effective and timely prosecution.
The primary purpose of Brave Beginnings is to empower abuse survivors by providing multidisciplinary evaluations and coordination of advocacy and care at a child-friendly facility.
